After a year of refunds and cancellations, we’ve finally got a light at the end of the tunnel – here’s a guide to which music festivals are going ahead in 2021

Isle of Wight 

Location: Seaclose Park

Date: 16th – 19th September 2021

The Isle of Wight Festival has announced it will be going ahead in 2021 (all rules abiding). At the moment, the line up for the weekend includes Lionel Richie, Lewis Capaldi, Jess Glynne, Becky Hill, You Me at Six, Lona, Snow Patrol, Sam Fender, James Arthur, Duran Duran, The Script, Carly Rae Jepsen, Example, Kaiser Cheifs, Maximo Park, Razorlight, Natasha Bedingfield, Sigma and Ella Henderson amongst others.

Reading and Leeds 

Location: Little Johns Farm, Reading

Date: 27th – 29th August 2021

So far, Reading festival has announced a lineup that includes Stormzy, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel, MK, Gallows, Catfish and The Bottlemen, AJ Tracey, Madison Beer, Nova Twins, Ashnikko, Post Malone, Two Door Cinema Club, Doja Cat, Sigrid, Beabadoobe, The Wombats, Disclosure, Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon, KS, Yungblud, Neck Deep, Crucast, Girl In Red, and Hot Milk.


Location: Finsbury Park

Date: 10th – 12th September

So far, the line up for Wireless includes Meek Mill, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Lil Baby, Skepta, Dababy, Doja Cat, Lil Tecca, Roddy Rich, City Girls, Burna Boy, AJ Tracey, Mostack, Aitch, Hardy Caprio, MIST, Tom Wayne, Koffee, jay1, Nafe Smallz, Kida Kudz, DIGDAT, Tiffany Calver and Remykid.

Camp Bestival 

Location: Lulworth Castle

Date: 29th July – 1st August

The line up for Bestival includes Fatboy Slim, Groover Armada, Becky Hill, Kelis, Friendly Fires, Sophie Ellis Bextor ft. Sink the Pink, The Sherlocks, Heather Small, and Vengaboys. You can also see Dick and Dom, Braniac Live, Irvine Welsh, Fred Siriex, Mr Tumble, Cheryl Hole, The Wurzels, and other bizarre combinations.


Location: Warrington

Date: 26th – 29th August

The Creamfields line up includes names like Alesso, Afrojack, Chase and Status, deadmau5, Example, Jax Jones, Jonas Blue, La Fleur, Pendulum, Sigma, Tiesto, Sub Focus and Yousef.


Location: Heaton Park

Date: 11th – 12th September

The Parklife team have yet to announce the lineup – but we’re sure it’ll be massive.

Mighty Hoopla 

Location: Brockwell Park

The Mighty Hoopla is a one day festival but that doesn’t mean the line up is lesser… Mighty Hoopla has Cheryl, Eve, Gabrielle, Becky Hill, Atomic Kitten, Betty Boo, Sink the Pink, Sonique, Kiddy Smile, Whigfield, Katie Price and Buttmitzvah.

Cross The Tracks

Location: Brockwell Park

Date: 6th August – 8th August

A more jazz, funk and soul festival, Cross The Tracks’ line up features The Cinematic Orchestra, En Vogue, Jordan Rakei, Sister Sledge, Gilles Peterson, London African Gospel Choir, Omar, Children of Zeus and Sarah Meth.

Slam Dunk 

Location: NORTH – Temple Newsam Park // SOUTH – Hatfield Park

Date: NORTH – 4th September 2021 // SOUTH – 5th September 2021

The line up for Slam Dunk is perfect for any indie or alt fans out there. It features Sum 41, Don Broco, NoOFX, While She Sleeps, Me First and The Gimme Gimmies, Reel Big Fish, State Champs, We Are The In Crowd, Mayday Parade, Dream State, Escape the Fate and Comeback Kid.
