This Thai eatery is a far cry from your bog standard, heavily cluttered Oriental restaurant. It’s clean, modern decor helps provide the perfect atmosphere for modern chilled out dining. They have a number of set menus for dinner, ranging in price from £20 per person for their vegetarian menu to £35 per person for their Thai Edge Special set menu. The Royal Orchid Menu gives you chicken satays, prawn and chicken golden bags, vegetable spring rolls, and thai fish cakes to share as a starter and chicken in green curry, roasted duck sautéed with sweet and sour sauce, stir-fried prawns with chilli and basil, stir-fried vegetables with soya sauce and egg fried rice to share between two people for £22.50 each.
2. Two dishes for £7

When? Monday to Friday 12pm to 4pm.
Bandobust started life as a pop up kitchen before moving into a more permanent home in 2014. From the off, they’ve been serving the tastiest Indian food in Leeds. Inspired by a variety of Indian street foods, they serve traditional Indian dishes with a modern twist including, okra fries, biryani bhaji balls and vada pav — a spicy mashed potato ball coated in flour and served in a brioche hun. At lunchtimes from Monday to Friday you and a mate can grab two dishes for £7.
3. Two burgers and two chips for £15

When? Monday to Friday 11.30 to 5pm.
Sometimes all you need in life is a good burger. If you and a course mate have a hankering for one at lunchtime, Smoke BBQ is the place you need to go, but not before you visit their Facebook page. They regularly post their two burgers and two chips for £15 deal, which is only valid in store if you like it.
4. Buy one pizza get one half price

Not only is this one of the coolest pubs in Leeds to have a drink in, but their pizzas aren’t too shabby either. They offer BOGOF on their pizzas all day on certain days, which they post about on Facebook.They also have a great student deal too.
5. Half price tapas

When? Every Wednesday.
This ever-so-cool bar is open everyday from lunch until 2am with a different deal going on everyday. On Wednesdays all their tapas dishes are half price.
