We all know that London can be a very expensive city to live in. From housing to transport, London is known for giving you the best, but with a hefty label attached. Therefore, I’ve compiled a list of some of the best lunch deals in London, which includes Greater London, so there’s something for everyone regardless of your mood so you can live your best life!

A small Kurdish restaurant that has some of the best shish kebabs in London. It is an extremely low-key restaurant but deserves as much recognition as possible because you can get shawarma for £10 worth every penny. It’s on the pricier side, but it’s a good treat!

What The Pitta

89-91 Bayham St, Camden Town, London NW1 0AG

For the Vegans out there! What The Pitta is a fantastic lunch place in Camden Town that uses marinated soya instead of actual meat. It has a £10 meal deal, but the portions £6.95 falafel wrap is pretty good on its own. Basically, great value for money, which leaves you feeling healthy too!

50 Kalo di Ciro Salvo

7 Northumberland Ave, Westminster, London WC2N 5BY

This is a relatively new restaurant, having opened in 2017. However, it does one of the best pizzas in London. It brings Italy to you for the duration of your meal, which is a perfect lunch break. The best part is it’s £6.50 for the Margherita!

Bao

53 Lexington St, Soho, London W1F 9AS

Bao can be found in Soho and in Southwark, so it is conveniently located for all Bao lovers. It boasts some of the fluffiest Bao buns in London, which can be filled with whatever your heart pleases. Regardless of the filling you choose, it will be under £5. An absolute bargain considering your stomach and heart are full at the end.

Roti King

40 Doric Way, Somers Town, London NW1 1LH

Another lowkey restaurant that serves mouth-watering food in London. It’s a Malaysian restaurant where you can get the Roti Canai for £5, which is 2 slices of fluffy roti with a bowl of dhal. For £6.50, the dhal can be swapped for chicken, lamb, or fish, so whatever you’re feeling, the Roti Canai has you covered.

Bleecker Burger

16 Bloomberg Arcade, London EC4N 8AR

Sometimes all we want is a burger and vibes. Bleecker Burger ticks these boxes and offers a traditional American cheeseburger, mouth-watering yet straightforward. For £6.50, you get a perfect cheeseburger. For £9.50, you can get a double cheeseburger. Whatever the weather, Bleecker Burger will make you happy.

The Barbary

16 Neal’s Yard, West End, London WC2H 9DP

The Vegetarian dream can be found at this restaurant. Not only is everything suitable for vegetarians, but everything served over the counter is less than £10. Perfect for a group outing, whether you are vegetarian or not, I’d suggest the deep-fried cauliflower (Cauliflower Jaffa Style).

That concludes a small list of cheap lunch deals in London. There are many more places you’ll find by just walking around; perhaps after April 12th, it’s time to go on a short walk? Either way, these places are my favourite (I’m also a Londoner on a budget)! While it is hard to find good food on a budget in London, it is not impossible. All these places will fill you up in £10 or less, so no matter your budget, London has a meal for you.
