1.Table Tennis
Thanks to Ping, there are dozens are table tennis boards across the city of Bristol, all of which are free for you and your friends to play on. What’s better than a spontaneous and free game of ping pong in the city.
2.Street Art
Bristol is a lively and creative city full of street art, so you could spend a day walking around the city. One of the most impressive pieces of street art is the Greta Thunberg piece, which is located next to the Aldi car park (if you’re a fan of Greta (who isn’t except Donald Trump?) make sure you check out the best Greta memes). There’s also a free Banksy walking tour you can do.
Bristol Museum & Art Gallery
If you are want to do something productive, then why not go to Bristol Museum & Art Gallery? It’s free entry every day of the year, and they have dozens of art, nature, and history collections for you to view.
Millennium Square
Millennium Square is the heart of Bristol city centre and is a popular public area thanks to the glass mirror ball. The ball is part of Bristol’s science museum and makes for incredible photos.
Bristol Doors Open Day
For one weekend each year Bristol has an open door day, where venues across Bristol open up their buildings to the public through tours and talks. Clifton Suspension Bridge
The suspension bridge in Bristol is an iconic landmark of the city and makes for an excellent photo backdrop. What’s even better is that there are free guided tours of the bridge each Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday between Easter and October. You can also learn all about the bridge in their visitor centre.
Windmill Hill City Farm
The city farm is a 4.5 acres space just 20 minutes from the city centre. Entrance to the site is free, and they have plenty of farm animals for you to see and a picnic area. They also have a community and kitchen garden, a farm shop, and a football pitch.
Cabot Tower
Brandon Hill Park, Park St, Bristol BS1 5RR
Cabot Tower is located in the parkland of Brandon Hill, which is the oldest park in Bristol. The tower was re-opened to the public in 2011 after being closed for maintenance but offers panoramic views across the city.
M Shed
Princes Wharf, Wapping Rd, Bristol BS1 4RN
If you want to know more about Bristol, then M Shed is the place to go. The museum is the home of everything Bristol, from the modern-day right back to the prehistoric times. It’s open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, pretty much all year round in 2022.
