Being a student is a time for, amongst other things, experimenting with your style and finding out your own weird little fashion and lifestyle quirks.

Unsurprisingly, this often leads to uni students taking on sartorial and personal habits which fall neatly under the umbrella of ‘hipster’. But which is the most hipstery city in the UK?

Moving professionals MoveHub have devised a way to work out exactly that. They have developed a hipster index by taking into account the number of vegan eateries, coffee shops, tattoo studios, vintage boutiques, and record stores per 100,000 city residents. This has produced a score out of ten for each city, and they ranked cities the world over.

We’ve distilled the list into just being of UK cities for your reading pleasure. Read on to find out how edgy your city really is.
