It’s fair to say that Queen Elizabeth met her fair share of the rich and famous during her 70-year reign. In fact, there were 100 presidents and heads of government at her funeral alone. From James Bond to Paddington Bear, the Queen has had some highly publicised celebrity meetings. So, we thought it would be fun to take a look at a handful of the celebrities Queen Elizabeth met during her reign.

First up, football legend, David Beckham, was famously spotted amongst the crowds of mourners waiting in line to see the Queen lying in state. However, unlike most of those around him, Beckham actually met the Queen on numerous occasions  dung her reign.

Sir Elton John is another celebrity who has met the Queen more than once. Most notably, he performed at her Diamond Jubilee concert in 2012.
