This chrome extension will run through any PDF or document you need to read, and automatically highlight the important bits. That way, you’ve only got to read the bits that matter.
2. AdBlocker
If you don’t already know and have this extension – get it. Right now. It will block all ads from every page you visit unless you tell it otherwise. No more YouTube ads, no more annoying pop-ups.
3. Tldr
Ever had a really long journal or article to read, but your lecture is in the morning and it’s already late? Or maybe you’ve fallen behind and are desperately trying to catch up? Well, Tldr summarises long essay, articles and journals into the key points. So you can get a grasp on what is being said, or decide if it’s worth reading.

SplitScreen makes having multiple chrome windows open at once so much easier. Instead of having to resize them yourself, it helps and organises them for you. So if you’re someone who always has a minimum of 2 internet browsers open, you need this extension.

Hemingway helps reduce wordiness and repetition in your work. You can get the chrome extension for free, and download the desktop app for a one off payment of $19.99. The extension will proof your work and help you get rid of anything clunky, unnecessary or poorly worded.
10. SwiftRead
Swift Read is a speed reading software that shows you one or two words at a time and zooms through an article or whatever you need to read. It’s proven to work a lot better than skim reading, and all you have to do is download the extension!
