In episode 11 of Love Is Blind season 3, Bartise and Nancy ended their relationship when Bartise refused to say “I do” at the altar of their wedding. This was also confirmed by the official public records system of the County of Dallas, which showed that Bartise and Nancy did not obtain a marriage license at the same time as the other Love Is Blind season 3 couples. Despite the breakup, Bartise and Nancy remained best friends for a while. The pair never got back together, and Bartise is now a dad to a baby born this year! But most of us who watched Love is Blind season 3 are trying to remember – why did Nancy and Bartise break up in the first place?
Who is Bartise Bowden?
Bartise Bowden, a 27-year-old from Dallas, Texas who appeared on Love Is Blind season 3. He works as a senior analyst, after earning a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Texas in Accounting. After connecting with Nancy in Love Is Blind, Bartise became part of the Perfect Match cast. He connected with Izzy Fairthorne, Ines Tazi, and Abbey Humphreys, even getting to the finals with Izzy. Nowadays, Bartise is a new father, announcing on April 7th he has a baby boy Aiden. It’s still unclear as to who the mother is. And it’s still not clear if Bartise is dating anyone!
Who is Nancy Rodriguez?
Before being on season 3 of Love Is Blind, Nancy worked as a speech-language pathologist as well as investing in real estate. Since the show, she has been growing her business and social media fan base. Unlike Bartise, Nancy hasn’t appeared on any other dating shows like Perfect Match. She has been dating however, and claims to have cut toxic people out of her life.
How did Bartise and Nancy get together?
The two were dating other people in the pods. Remember the weird guy who had a cool photography job but faked crying? Him and Nancy were almost a connection but Nancy rejected his proposal. Bartise grew close to Raven, however was put off when he heard her doing star jumps as he was telling an emotional story about himself. Therefore, Bartise and Nancy got engaged.

However, Bartise was quick to tell Nancy how attractive he found Raven when the Love Is Blind season 3 cast eventually met up. And the relationship appeared rocky from then on. Nevertheless, the final decision at the alter had most viewers shocked. While Nancy said ‘I do’, Bartise did not. This resulting in Nancy’s family jumping to her defence, and left the pair in a complicated situation.
