It’s kinda crazy to think that 2024 is just around the corner. That’s definitely a little terrifying, especially for those of us in our last year of university (what do you mean graduation is soon???). But, there are plenty of events for students going on all around Nottingham city to ring in the new year. Whether you’re looking for a club night, a dinner or something completely different, there’s something on offer for you. So, here are just some of the best New Year’s Eve events in Nottingham for students for 2023.
1. Nottingham Secret Garden Rave
Tucked away on Trinity Walk just by the city centre, you’ll find the bar Nottingham Secret Garden. You’ll party the night away listening to house, house-tech, minimal and garage music to ring in the new year. As of the time of writing, the cheapest tickets available are the second-release tickets, which are £15 plus a £1.75 booking fee, which isn’t too bad for student budgets going out at New Year’s Eve.

2. Winter Wonderland
While Winter Wonderland is more known as a Christmas market and one of the best Christmas events in Nottingham, it runs until New Year’s. You can visit the Sur La Piste bar, ride the Ferris wheel, ice skate and more. You will have to pay to use a lot of the attractions, but you can walk around the market for free and that in itself is a great experience.
