Tik Tok renovation videos are the ones we never knew we needed, yet can’t seem to live without. The latest people to take up the trend of documenting their projects are a group of students in Nottingham, who are transforming their outdated basement into their very own nightclub.
Despite only posting their first video a week ago, the group of students have already got nearly 4,000 followers on their project’s Tik Tok account, as well as 20,000 likes across the two videos they have uploaded so far.
The trio, made up of Chay, Wills, and Shanaya, are all old friends from Ipswich, who all decided to move to Nottingham together for their education and the chance to live together.
So far they have only released three videos as part of their renovation series, but have also created an Instagram account for the series where they will be keeping their followers up to date.
They seem to be going for a modern chill vibe, complete with a small stage area, comfy chairs, beanbags and a classic dart board. They will also be making a makeshift bar out of pallets, and using blackboards and tapestry to cover up the old walls. The trio will also be using pillows to make the alcoves seating areas.
