1. Picture House Social
Picture House Social is very much understated but an undeniably cool venue. Popular among students, the bar is an independent in a former ballroom. This is a spacious venue with lots of space for dancing and comfy seating.

2. The Wing and Pen
The Wig and Pen has been open since late 2010. It’s an elegant establishment removed from the bustling city centre. Its spread over two floors, with classy interior and excellent food menu. They serve great cocktails, selection of beers and wines at a student friendly price.

3. P U B L I C
PUBLIC is an insane venue, having been transformed from a disused 19th century toilet into a stylish destination for cocktails and delicious food. This is an intimate venue, with just 36 seats available. The place can get pretty busy so make sure to get there early.
This place is iconic.. but don’t just take our word for it. In 2018 they won ‘the best place to drink’ prize from the prestigious observer food monthly awards! Pretty good going for a bar that was less than a year old.

4. SOYO
SOYO interior pays tribute to Sheffield’s industrial past. SOYO opened its doors in 2009 and has become popular among students. It’s a great place for a dance with a resident DJ and has an extensive cocktail, vodka and cider menu.

5. The Great Gatsby
