Although their main dishes only include pizzas, pastas, and salads, they have the biggest variety of Italian food overall, as they also sell Italian sandwiches, focaccias, and ice-creams. Excuse us…gelato! The view of the sea is incredible from this restaurant, and they have plenty of outdoor seating to make the most of the sunny weather as well.

2. Ask Italian
Most of you have probably heard of Ask Italian, so it’s obviously made our list. Ask Italian is one of the most popular Italian restaurants chains, but despite being a chain it remains one of the best restaurants in Swansea for delicious food! Their menu has the biggest choice, with over 20 starters to choose from and a wide range of pastas, and pizzas! Although there are cheaper options, some of their mains can get pretty expensive, so always check their menu before booking!

3. Topo Gigio
Topo Gigio is a family-run Italian restaurant near Swansea city centre. Although it’s on a busy street, not many people know about this Italian restaurant, as it’s not obviously there. But that adds to its charm and ensures it’s not overly crowded every night. They don’t necessarily have the biggest menu compared to chains, but the food they do sell is amazing quality, especially since the owner himself is Italian. This restaurant is a bit fancy, especially as the average price for a main is around £20. So if you’re looking for a date night or a celebration meal in an Italian restaurant, this is the place for you.

4. Gallinis Italian Restaurant
Like Topo Gigio, Gallinis Italian Restaurant also has a small menu, but they’re still one of the best places for Italian food in Swansea. Their restaurant is in the marina docks, which is so pretty on sunny days. They sell some classic Italian dishes such as lasagne, bruschetta, and carbonara, which are all reasonably priced as well. This is definitely one of a more chill restaurant to go to, and the amazing food makes it worth it.

5. Positano
Located right in the city centre, Positano is a small Italian restaurant in Swansea that serves up everything you’re craving. Their menu includes pasta, pizza, and calzone, as well as steak and more. This restaurant also isn’t too pricey either, as their average main costs around £15. However, their steak dishes are around the £20 mark, which is still pretty normal for steak but obviously a bit more expensive than their other meals. And if you don’t feel like going out but still want some Italian food, they also do deliveries on Deliveroo and Uber Eats!

6. Belle Vue Bistro
Belle Vue Bistro have a huge selection on their menu, including risotto, grills, and even a vegan menu! The prices here are also amazing, as most of their mains are around the £12 mark. The restaurant is close to the city centre, so it’s super convenient to get to as well. Although it’s a nice restaurant, it is definitely more a family-friendly place, so maybe not the best place to go if you’re looking for a romantic date night.

7. Pizzeria Vesuvio
