So here we are in lockdown 3.0. For some of us, we will be wanting to jump on the exercise bandwagon once again but you may be wanting to mix it up this time compared to your usual (and boring) workout. Here are some of the best fitness gurus on Instagram providing their own free workouts to keep you healthy and fit.

Joe Wicks

If you did not know of Joe Wicks even before the first lockdown, then have you been living under a rock? Joe Wicks took the world by storm during the first lockdown last year with his dedicated PE lessons for kids missing out on fitness during school. Even before that, he rose to fame through his famous 15-minute meals and 90-day meal plan.

This time round, The Body Coach is back with PE with Joe. Although this is normally to help out kids, this doesn’t mean adults can’t join in on the fun. The workouts include HIIT workouts (high-intensity interval training), so you will be losing weight in no time!

Joe’s Instagram handle is @thebodycoach with 3.9 million followers.

Kayla Itsines

Kayla Itsines is an Australian personal trainer and author. She is the creator of her famous fitness ebooks known as “Bikini Body Guides”, as well as having a meal planning and workout app known as “Sweat with Kayla”.

During lockdown, she is providing weekly workouts on Instagram known as “Sweat Challenge Week” as a part of her Bikini Body Challenge.

Kayla’s Instagram handle is @kayla_itsines with 12.7 million followers.

Carly Rowena

Carly Rowena provides workouts for mums wanting to keep fit – and trying to keep up with looking after the kids! She has a widely followed Instagram feed, as well as a YouTube channel. She posts a variety of at-home workouts and the best thing it is all free content!

As well as this, she has an ebook called “The Get Gorgeous Guide” alongside a variety of workout guides. And for those expectant mothers, she also provides pregnancy workout cards.

Carly’s Instagram handle is @carlyrowena with 168,000 followers.

Lucy Mecklenburgh

After originally making her name as a TV personality, Lucy Mecklenburgh has become one of the most popular fitness influencers on Instagram here in the UK. She is the owner and the CEO of one of the UK’s leading online fitness platforms “Results with Lucy”.

After her rebrand, the aim of the fitness platform is now “Results, Wellness, Lifestyle.” Although this online platform requires a subscription fee, luckily for us she regularly posts workout videos, recipes and even shares some of her top tips on Instagram so we never run low on content from the fitness guru.

Lucy’s Instagram handle is @lucymeck 1 with 1.7 million followers.

Chessie King

Chessie King is now known as the Queen of Instagram (despite her surname saying the opposite). Her fitness regimes cater to all women of all shapes and sizes, as she encourages them to have a healthy relationship with their bodies.

She is a firm believer in body positivity, so not only are her workouts great for your physical health, but also your mental health. Through her Instagram, she uses her voice and the social media platform to help people comfortable in their own skin.

Chessie’s Instagram handle is @chessiekingg with 809,000 followers.

So, if you are looking to get fit during lockdown 3.0 and stay true to the New Years resolutions, then you can start off with these Instagram influencers to get you right on track.
