Meet the surfer Lucie Donlan

This blonde bombshell is sure to set pulses racing. Many have compared her to last years Laura Crane. Both being surfers, with Lucie also being a professional model… not surprising at all. She has appeared in Cost, High Tide and Wed magazine.
She was linked to last years contestant Charlie Frederick. During an interview with the Daily Mail Charlie was quick to diss his former girlfriend saying ‘She’s most definitely not looking for love! She’s only 21! I hope she’s going in there with the right intentions,’ he told Daily Mail – before hinting she was in it for the Instagram numbers. ‘She said it herself. I don’t even need to say she used my name to get famous. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to get the Z-list fame.’ OUCH doesn’t seem like a good break up to us.
To add further insult, Charlie uploaded to his instagram shortly after the interview to wish Lucie all the best. It could just be us but we are sensing some sarcasm and perhaps some jealousy… move on Charlie, she has.
As well as being linked to Charlie, Lucie counts Joey Essex as one of her mates, having arranged to go on a date via Instagram. Not surprising as she has an impressive 85.2K followers and growing daily. Sadly this never came to reality. “I’ve spoken to Joey Essex on and off because I love his personality, it’s so funny,” she said. “I was on a shoot and I was introduced to him, then he followed me on Instagram a few weeks later.
“We were talking about his dog because I love dogs and then we just said that we should go on date but it didn’t happen. Likewise I wouldn’t go for that kind of look but I do like his personality.”
Lucie doesn’t consider herself to be a girlie girl, although she does like to get glam from time to time. “I stand out and I’m different to the usual girls that might go on the show. I’m more into sports as well as being glam. I can do both, which makes me stand out compared to other girls,” she said. “I’m more of a guy’s girl than a girl’s girl.
“I just don’t like hanging out with girly girls too much. I like hanging out with guys because they’re into the same type of sports…. less drama really.”
She has stated if she likes the look of a guy then she isn’t afraid to take him from a girl… hopefully that won’t get her in too much trouble.
“I don’t think there really is a girl code,” she said. “If I was really good friends with a girl then I wouldn’t go for their guy but I’m not really a girly girl anyway, unless I really get on with a girl and they would support me in everything I did.”
What is Lucie type?
It’s no surprise with Charlie as her X that Lucie likes blondes.
“I like the typical surfer look,” she said. “I find sporty guys so much more attractive compared to your average guy that just chills and goes on nights out. I’d rather have someone that could come and surf with me and then I could go and do their cool sport.”
She has admitted to never having a relationship last longer then 6 months, admitting she’s cursed with never passing 6 months. ‘It always cuts off at six months or before. It’s so weird. I love the honeymoon stage and being all excitable but then you just relax and I get bored… next!’. Sounds like whoever she couples up with his their work cut out.. Good luck
