Sophie Piper and Wallace Wilson were dumped from the villa during Sunday night’s episode of Love Island, after the rest of the contestants were tasked in their couples to nominate two couples they felt were the least compatible. The public also voted.
On Sunday, the couples gathered around the fire pit to hear the results from the villa and public vote. The couples announced at risk were Siânnise and Luke; Sophie and Mike ; Rebecca and Wallace and Jess and Luke Mabbott.
The public chose to save Siannise and Luke, Jess and Luke T, which left the Islanders having to decide whether to save either Mike or Sophie, or Wallace or Rebecca.
Finn and Paige chose to save Mike and Rebecca. Luke T and Siannise chose to save Mike and Wallace. While Callum and Shaugna chose to save Sophie and Wallace.
Luke M and Jess and Nas and Demi both chose to save Mike and Rebecca, which sent Sophie and Wallace home.
During the Islanders vote, Wallace and Rebecca received the maximum possible votes after each couple except themselves voted for the pair. They admitted on Friday’s episodes that neither found the other attractive so this would have played a huge role in the islanders decision.
Mike and Sophie were at risk because they are in a friendship couple. At the time of the vote, Luke M and Jess had drifted apart as Mike was trying his luck with Jess. This caused a rift between the couple.
