You may know Molly Mae after her stint on Love Island where she found love with Tommy Fury. Now, she is an Instagram influencer and has a partnership with Pretty Little Thing. However, before she found fame on Love Island, she was a model who found fame from posting model pics on her Instagram account in June 2017. Molly Mae net worth is estimated to be at £800,000, but how exactly has she made all this money. Keep reading to find out!
Of course, Molly Mae is most famous for her appearance on the much loved reality show Love Island. Molly didn’t enter the villa until day four and on the same day she arrived, Tommy was chosen by the public to go to the “Hideaway Hot Tub” to meet Molly. On day five, Molly and Tommy coupled up and the rest is history.
From there, their fondness towards each other grew as they continually chose to re-couple with each other. The couple eventually made it to the final and much to the dismay of fans, the couple were runners up to couple Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill.
How Molly Mae made her net worth
At only 21 years old, Molly-Mae Hague’s net worth is already estimated at £800,000. From her PLT collaboration alone, she bagged a whopping £500,000! For each sponsored Instagram post she earns up to £10,890, and if she features the hunky Tommy Fury, then she can earn an additional £10,000.
Instagram seems to be the highest wager for the Love Island finalists after they eventually leave the villa. Molly-Mae earns the most from Instagram compared to any other past Love Island contestant as she earns on average £399,000 a month. Despite only being a runner up on Love Island, Amber Gill – who she came second to in the same year – earns £297,920 on average on Instagram.
Not only is there her PLT collaboration, but she also works with Beauty Works to promote their hair extensions available to purchase. It was unknown how much she has earned after working with them, however it proved successful to her as she ended up with over 3 million Instagram followers.
Molly Mae Personal Life
As mentioned above, Molly found love with Tommy Fury in Love Island. The couple are still together and are as happy as ever.
Recently, the pair were the focus of the tabloid press after the death of their puppy after only four days. For a birthday present, Tommy bought Molly a Pomeranian puppy which they named Mr Chai.
Unfortunately, after only four days Mr Chai died after suffering a seizure and neurological problems. Fury bought the puppy from breeder “Tiffany Puppies”. However, it was later revealed the seller had brought the dog over from Russia. This angered a lot of people as they believed it breached Lucy’s Law – making it illegal for third party dealers to sell puppies, and that they must see the puppy’s mum before making the purchase of the animal.
Both the breeder and the couple defended the criticism as Mr Chai was a healthy dog. The breeder said in an interview: “I only work with trusted people and have a small network of reputable breeders who care for their dogs to the very highest standards and see animals as part of their family.”
Molly Mae is perhaps one of the most successful runners up to leave the Love Island villa. Not only that, she is one of the remaining past contestants to remain in her couples. And as it seems to be going with Tommy Fury, they seem to be growing stronger and stronger so only time will tell what the future holds for the couple.
Molly Mae House
Shortly after leaving the villa – despite rumours that they split up a week after leaving the villa – the pair moved into Molly’s flat in Manchester. After that, they moved into another apartment. Both stars have recently moved into a £1.3 million lavish apartment in Cheshire, after seeking a fresh start after the death of their beloved dog.
