Choosing where to live when you start university is a huge decision and one of the most important you will have to make. Most students choose to live either in university-managed accommodation or private student accommodation.

Leeds Trinity University has eight different university-managed properties for their students, all of which range in weekly cost, whether they are catered or self-catered, have an ensuite or a shared bathroom. All properties are on campus and also have fast free Wi-Fi.

To get in touch with the accommodation team you can email them at accommodation@leedstrinity.ac.uk.

Balancing studying and childcare is really important for students with children, but to make it a little easier there is a nursery on the Leeds Trinity campus. Cliffe House Day Nursery offers places for children from 3 months old to 5 years old. The nursery is open 7:30 am to 6 pm all year round, and they also have a qualified cook to produce delicious and nutritious meals and snacks.

To get in touch with Cliffe House Day Nursery you can email them at cliffehousebaildon@yahoo.co.uk or call them on 01274 586 888.

Fees and Finance

Finances can be really stressful for students, but it’s important to remember nearly all students have a low income so it is important to budget. Most students apply for a student loan to help cover their tuition fee and a maintenance loan to cover their rent and living costs.

When students receive their first instalment it can seem like they just won the lottery, but that money has to last them until their next instalment. At Leeds Trinity University they have a student finance team who give students tips on how to budget and manage their money sensibly.

To get in touch with the finance team you can email them at studentfinance@leedstrinity.ac.uk or call them on 0113 283 7173.

When you start at Leeds Trinity University it is important to register with a local GP practice and a dentist in your local area. This is so students can get help when they need it, and don’t have to wait and register when they are sick.

Students living on campus with be in the catchment area of The Ireland Wood and Horsforth Medical Practice.

To get in touch with the medical practice you can call them on  0113 230 3470.

Students should also register with a dental practice, one of the closest if the Horsforth Dental Practice.
