This place is popular for their fried chicken but — as you may not of noticed when you’re ordering the number 5 at 3am on a Thursday morning — they also do pizza. So this is less of a dress-up-and-go-somewhere-fancy pizza and more of a dressed-in-a-onesie-slumped-in-front-of-the-telly pizza but there is nothing wrong with that.

5. The home-made pizza

This friendly restaurant started life as a pop up and has created quite a buzz ever since. They are certain to meet all dietary and hunger needs, providing vegan options and the metre-long pizza.
6. The edgy AF pizza
Where? Suede Bar, 34 Heathcoat Street, NG1 3AA.
You only need to take a peek at the menu to tell this place oozes all kinds of cool. Of course, it’s set in the hip part of town — the creative corner — and offers music, stylish surroundings and some top grub.
7. The spaggy-bol pizza

Out of all the odd toppings and quirky crusts we’ve come across, this has to be the strangest. We daren’t try it for ourselves but we’ve heard it’s pretty good. However, if one Italian dish slopped on top of another they offer a number of other options.

The warm atmosphere and modern decor make for a great dining experience. Not only can you choose from a selection of topping, but you can choose to have your pizza either in a classic size, calzone or a super-size giganti.
9. The straight-to-your-door pizza

Located in Beeston, this takeaway place delivers across Nottingham. Their selection of pizzas is incredibly long so you are guaranteed to find something that tickles your fancy but if not you can also create your own pizza from a selection of toppings.
10. The fun pizza
Where? Das Kino, 22 Fletcher Gate, NG1 2FZ.
What goes best with pizza? Ping pong of course! If you have a hankering for both, Das Kino is your answer. As well as a selection of some temping pizza they also serve pizza fries which is the equivalent of heaven on earth.
11. The date night pizza
Where? Amores, 137 Station Road, NG9 2AZ.
Grab yourself a gingham table cloth, some candles and your significant other and you’re ready for a date night that will be like something out of Lady and the Tramp — but with pizza instead of pasta. This restaurant’s romantic atmosphere and delicious food is enough to get anyone’s pulse racing.
