Yorkshire is known for its drinking, and so they’ve got some of the absolute best beer gardens. For anyone who lives up in Leeds, we’ve got a list of some of the best beer gardens in Leeds for you to go and visit!

1. Archies

Archies has a lovely beer garden which the re-opened on April 12th. Whilst there you can enjoy their All Day Menu of pizzas, as well as their Kid’s Menu and drinks! Archies has a huge range of gins, including cucumber and mint, passion fruit, violet, marmalade and strawberry and lime. They’ve also got mojitos, tom collins, amaretto sours, dark ‘n’ stormy and black Russian cocktails. Not to even mention their thick whole milk and ice cream milkshakes, or their boozy milkshakes! Plus the usual hot and soft drinks alongside. Really, you’re spoilt for choice.

2. Midnight Bell

Midnight Bell re-opened their beer garden in April too, with loads of tables and cheers for pub-goers to enjoy the sunshine and booze in! If you visit on Fridays, drinks are £3.95 a glass from 4 pm! They have 3 menus on offer, the lunch menu with sandwiches and wraps, the main menu with all of your pub faves, and finally, their Sunday menu.

3. Nation of Shopkeepers

Nation of Shopkeepers has a great beer garden with a really nice and relaxed vibe. Whilst you’re there, you can get pornstar martinis, Bakewell sours, wines, ciders, beer, and even no or low alcohol options. If you’re looking for food, they have spicy chicken wings, halloumi, pizza, burgers and a whole range of desserts.

4. Water Lane Boathouse

With string lights, small roofed areas and gorgeous greenery, the Water Lane Boathouse has a really nice atmosphere to it. Plus, you can get burgers, pizzas, and great drinks! It’s a great place to go for a nice relaxing atmosphere and drink.

5. Parkside Tavern

Great cocktails, beers, and wood-fired pizzas – Parkside Tavern is definitely worthy of one of the top spots. They have great draught beers, vodkas, wines and pool tables to keep you busy.

6. Banyan

Picnic benches, cute aesthetic fairy lights and a friendly team, Banyan is one of the top-tier places to visit in Leeds. Especially with 2-4-1 cocktails available all day every day! And if that isn’t enough, they make Lemon Cheesecake cocktails too.

7. Angelica

You can go and sit out on the terrace at Angelica from the 12th April. The venue is much more formal than other outdoor spaces, with a smart dress code. They have food menus – including brunch – and cocktails!

One of the bigger beer gardens on this list, the Cross Keys has a great area for guests to sit and enjoy some drinks with friends and family. They also have delicious smashburgers for sale, which are enough reason to go on their own!

9. The Original Oak

The OG Oak are serving their small outdoor menu between April and May 17th, but even with limits on what they’re serving, they’re one of the best venues to go and visit! S’mores, pizzas, fish and chips, salad, plus a huge range of ales, beers, wines, cocktails and spirits? What more could you need!?

10. Cuckoo

Cuckoo has adventurous cocktails and 5 litre tall giraffes of beer. They’re automatically separated from the rest, and then to make it better they have free 6 inch pizzas with any drink before 9 pm! For any cocktail fiends, this is the place for you. They have their showstoppers, including The Blueberry Muffin, as well as their White Chocolate Martini, Quackaris and The BIG Strawberry Woo Woo. There is no reason not to go!
