But, if you need help deciding, we’ve picked the best Halloween events in Swansea for 2023, and everything you need to know about them!
1. Smack Halloween rave
Smack Halloween is the biggest Halloween event happening in Swansea this year! This drum and base rave is happening in the Swansea Arena, a huge venue which has hosted massive concerts in the past. Hedex is headlining this event, but you’ll also be able to see Vibe Chemistry, Issey Cross, Mozey, and Harriet Jaxxon!
This is also happening on Halloween night, which couldn’t be more perfect for a Halloween rave. However, this event is pretty expensive compared to others, as a standard standing ticket will cost you £27.50. But, if you love drum and base and Halloween, then this is the perfect Halloween event for you!

2. Hallowemo Ball
Sin City hosts their Hallowemo Ball every year, so obviously it had to make our list. This is definitely a night for those emo music-lovers, but also a great night to dress up and dance! It’s on Friday, the 27th of October, which is the perfect way to kick off Halloween weekend! Tickets are only £5, so it’s also one of the cheapest events on our list as well. This has always been one of the best Halloween events in Swansea, so get your tickets fast before they sell out!

3. The Halloween Nightmare
The Halloween Nightmare is one of the best Halloween events in Swansea for 2023! This event is being hosted in Level 17, Swansea’s newest nightclub that’s just had a massive refurbishment! From this event, you can expect a circus and freak show theme, which is amazing for anything Halloween-related. During the night, there will be a live freak stage show, circus performers walking around the club, Halloween decorations and a midnight confetti balloon drop! 4. Bingo Lingo
Swansea has hosted a Halloween-themed Bingo Lingo for a few years now, so of course it’s back this year as well! If you haven’t been to Bingo Lingo before, it’s basically Bingo with more booze, crazier prizes, and just a whole lot livelier altogether! This year, Bingo Lingo is being hosted in the Patti Pavilion on Friday, the 27th of October, which is perfect for Halloween weekend. Dressing up is a must, since you will be the odd one out if you don’t. It’s a guaranteed good night, so if you’re interested, book your tickets fast because they always sell out!

5. Festival of the dead
The Festival of the Dead event is happening a bit earlier in October, as it’s on the 20th rather than on Halloween weekend. But, it’s a great way to start the celebrations, and means you can still go to this and other Halloween events as well! This is another circus themed Halloween event, but instead of being in a nightclub, it’s in Brangwyn Hall, which is an old venue and concert hall that’s now used for hosting events. During the night, there will be circus performers, giant skeleton puppets, carnival processions, and immersive decorations! The price for this event is £32, but we can imagine it will be worth it.

6. Margam Castle Ghost Hunt
If you’re looking for a seriously scary event, then the ghost hunt at Margam castle is definitely for you. During the night, you will spend the night investigating with the Haunted Rooms team using their paranormal equipment, attend group and lone vigils, and even have the opportunity to see a psychic! Tickets are around £60, which is expensive for a Halloween event, but considering everything that comes in the package, we think it’s worth it.
