Newgate Court

In the heart of Newcastle, just 10 minutes away from Newcastle University, a few streets away from Northumbria and even closer to the Business School, Negate Court houses plenty of students in modern, stylish ensuite rooms. Residents can choose between an ensuite room wherein they’ll share a kitchen and living space with a small group of flatmates, or a studio for more independence. iQ Collingwood

Just 2 minutes away from Northumbria University and 13 minutes from Newcastle University, Collingwood is perfectly located for any student. It is a short walk from the shopping extravaganza of Newcastle city centre and has a fresh, modern feel to it. There are a range of ensuites and studios to fit any budget and the building has an onsite gym, cinema room and roof terrace. Prices start at £128 per week.

The View

Also known as the Blue Tower, The View offers accommodation for every kind of student. There are studio apartments or shared flats, all decorated with top of the range furniture, and ensuite bath or shower room. There are relaxing social spaces available to enjoy with friends, and a Tesco Express literally next door. Prices start at £167.45 per week.

Newcastle University 

Castle Leazes

Castle Leazes is an accommodation for Newcastle University which is only 15 minutes away from campus. There is a chill-out lounge, gaming area, TV room and computer cluster available to residents. Whilst living at Castle Leazes, you can benefit from the catering option in the shared on-site dining hall. Choose from washbasin rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, or ensuite rooms for a little more privacy. Prices start at £95.83 per month.

Marris House 

15 minutes out of the city centre, Marris House is right next to the gorgeous Leazes Park and the university’s sports centre. In 2019 it was redecorated and is now perfect and modern. There are 32 flats with 6 bedrooms and a communal kitchen, as well as a common and study space onsite. The bedrooms are neutrally decorated and have sockets and USB ports, vanity sinks with mirrors, towel rail, and shared bathrooms between 3 people. The kitchens are sleek, with everything you could need – including a washer dryer. Prices start at £109.41 per week.

Windsor Terrace 

Located on-campus, Windsor Terrace is perfect for the lazier students among us. Residents can choose from washbasin rooms or ensuite rooms in flats shared of 6. Each flat has an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area for students to relax in. Prices start at £106.40 per week.

Northumbria University 

Trinity Square

Trinity Square is unique, in that it is above a retail and leisure centre complete with multi-screen cinema and a 24-hour Tesco. Plus, it has beautiful views of the River Tyne. The accommodation is split into 5 blocks which are home to around 1,000 students, who live in either ensuite rooms in flats of 2 to 5 people or a self-contained studio apartment. The flats also have washer dryers, a gym, communal spaces and study space! Prices start at £121.03 per week.

Glenamara House 

Glenamara has been recently refurbished, and is simply 2 minutes away from the library, the SU and the sports centre. Students can live in a modern bedroom with a sink, and share their bathroom, kitchen and lounge with between 6 and 8 flatmates. Perfect for making friends! Prices start at £98 per week.
