This pub has won Best Sunday Lunch at the 2019 Best Bar and Restaurant Awards. Its Sunday Lunch is served between 12 pm and 6 pm, giving you plenty of time to nurse your hangover and head out for a meal. They serve an array of starters, including veggie and gluten-free options. You can choose between Pork Belly, Roast Chicken, Roast Beef or a savour bread pudding for your main. The roasts range from £13 to £15, and there is a large range of food available. Tom Brown’s Brasserie

Tom Brown’s is also slightly further out, however, the food is completely worth it. Built along the riverside, it provides scenic views. Although fancy, their prices for a non-veggie Sunday lunch start only at £14.95! With choices between butter poached chicken, pork loin, beef rump, or a mix of the different meats and butter poached turkey, there is something for everyone! They serve their roasts between 12pm and 5.45 pm. With a delicious menu, they also have the best veggie option at only £13.95: a tantalising mushroom and mixed nut roast!

The Roundhouse

The Roundhouse is one of the more expensive places on this list, but mouth-watering food is something to experience. It is known for its Pork belly roasts, which start at £18. Chicken and Beef roasts are also available for those wanting different flavours. They also serve Quorn roasts as a veggie option at £16. Their roasts are available between 12 pm and 7 pm. It’s perfect for any weather, with a cosy indoors, but a lovely sun trap out the back too. 

Fat Cat

The restaurant area in the Fat Cat serves some of the best roast lunch there is! With delicious flavours and plenty of student discounts, this place is a must-try. Their Sunday roast lunch deal includes two roasts and a bottle of wine for only £29.95. The booths are cosy and perfect for visiting with smaller groups of friends.
