You may love them or hate them but you have to admit since 2011, the cast have come along way. From initially making only £50 per show, the cast have shown us how its done by creating a worldwide shoe empire, to having their very own show. This is how much the TOWIE cast members are worth now and how they made their wonga.
10. Megan Mckenna – at least £315,000
Megan first hit the public eye when she appeared on reality TV programme, Ex on the beach in 2015. She then appeared on Big Brother, reportedly earning 30K for her appearance. She of course featured on The Only Way Is Essex as Pete Wicks girlfriend, but after it came out he cheated on her, she left the show.
She has a range of beauty lines including hair extensions, cosmetics and fashion endorsements, often getting paid on social media for her brand partnerships. A women of many talents, she has also launched her own restaurant McGrill, which has already created a strong fanbase.
The reality queen has left Bruntwood behind and ventured into launching her own music career in country music, and she’s doing pretty awesome. She made headlines when her single overtook Taylor Swifts to the number one spot on Spotify.
After her stunt on Big brother she was estimated to be worth £315,000 but since then she’s launched a number of businesses and started her career in music. We wouldn’t be surprised if she’s doubled if not troubled her net worth. Not bad girl, not bad!
9. Ferne Mccan – at least £400,000
Ferne has bagged herself a bit of a presenting career after TOWIE. She has a slot on This Morning and appeared on I’m a celebrity. She also has her own food and fashion blog which has a strong following.
She heavily pushes Herbalife and gets paid for a number of social media brand partnerships. Since the birth of her daughter, Ferne landed her very own TV programme ‘First time mum’ on ITVBE.
8. Chloe Sims – at least 1M
This bombshell has reportedly joined the millionaires club, thanks to her beauty parlour in Brentwood. Her wealth is also thanks to her numerous modelling ventures and personal appearances. Finally, her autobiography ‘The only way is up’ has helped her stack up the wonga.
7. Tommy Mallet – at least 1M
Tommy started his career as a model at the age of 14. Later he appeared on TOWIE and quickly made Georgie his girlfriend. Tommy has launched a number of businesses including Circuit and and Romford Nightclub.
In an interview he said he always wanted to start a footwear brand, after growing up and not being able to afford trainers, he wanted to bring affordable footwear to the market. He has now built a worldwide footwear brand ‘Mallet Footwear’, which is stocked in Selfridges, Flannels, Tessuti and many other stores. The brand has ventured out to the Netherlands and is set to make Tommy a small fortune. Not bad for a North London boy!
6. Lauren Goodger – thought to be around 2.4M
Lauren was one of the first from Towie to hit the 1M mark with her fake tan range Lauren’s Way. She also expanded the brand to offer eyelashes and lip glosses. However in 2017 Lauren posted to Instagram of her business partners deceitful behaviour.
“I don’t want to air dirty laundry but I had a company set up years ago with my business partner, and believed I was 50/50 in this business. After years of no getting a penny and being logged out the social platforms for my own brand LAURENS WAY it has now come to me asking for your help.”
The beauty is now seeking legal action against her business partner.
She has also appeared on CBB and done a number of brand partnerships on social.
