It’s official: Covid is out and travel is in! We’ve endured two years of Covid restrictions and the thought of going on holiday is firmly planted in our minds right now.  However travel restrictions, weather and budgeting all come into play. Well don’t stress, for those of you wanting a girly getaway, then look no further. We have a list of the top 10 holiday destinations for a girls holiday away.

1. Weekend in Paris

Paris, the fashion capital of the world. Paris is the perfect weekend trip away with the girls. Not only is there every fashion brand going for you to shop to your heart’s content, but it is a city full of culture and history with so many landmarks for you to visit and explore.

Whether that’s the Eiffel Tower, the Arc De Triumph or even the Notre Dame, Paris is a city that caters for all interests. If you are a keen art lover, then it is key you visit the Louvre Museum where you can see the Mona Lisa – painted in 1503. Or, if you are an adult who is still a child at heart, then pay a visit to Disneyland. And of course, for all those fashionistas out there, take a trip down Avenue Montaigne where you can shop in some of the worlds most renowned fashion brands to get an essence of the desired “French Couture”.

2. Marbella

If you are looking for somewhere for you and the girls to wear your new party dress, then Marbella is the place to go! It is a place that has similarities to Ibiza, but Marbella is thought to be more polished. So, if you are a party animal but sophisticated as well, then Marbella is calling you.

Marbella may be expensive, but this is because it is the swankiest resort in Spain. The best place to enjoy the top restaurants and bars is Paseo Maritimo which has over 50 venues to wine and dine at.

The best party location for the perfect girl’s night out is Puerto Banus which is described as “rocking until dawn”, especially during those desired summer nights. As well as this, this part of Marbella has endless beach clubs open during the day to continue your partying! 3. Ibiza

For many girls in their early 20s, Ibiza is the perfect place to go for relaxing in the day and partying all night. It isn’t known as the party capital of the Balearic Islands for any reason!

Not only is there partying on offer in Ibiza, but it has beautiful beaches, some great hotels and quaint places to eat and drink. The best time to eat and drink is when the sun is just setting upon the Mediterranean Sea where you can view it along the sunset strip in San Antonio. The perfect place to go to do all of this is the infamous Café Mambo.

7. Santorini, Greece

This part of Greece is well-known for its blue and white buildings on top of its hilly landscape that provides picturesque views for all to endure. If you are looking for a place to chill and soak up all the Greek heat and culture, then Santorini is the perfect place to go with the girls.

8. Barcelona

What more could you want from a city that has the perfect balance of both a coastal atmosphere alongside a buzzing city vibe. Situated thirty minutes from the El Corte Ingles shopping centre is the beautiful beachfront where you can enjoy a nice, cold refreshing drink by the sea as you soak in the hot, Spanish air and culture.

Unlike a lot of cities, Barcelona is a city that allows you to not only sunbathe by the pool in the hot heat (if that is your cup of tea) but for those explorers out there you can also enjoy the beautiful sightseeing opportunities Barcelona has on offer such as the “Magic Fountain of Montjuic”, which isn’t only a great place to go with the girls but it is free admission!

9. Mykonos, Greece

Places to visit in Greece are popular on this list and there is no argument as Greece has plenty to offer for girls wanting a trip away together. Mykonos is one of the best places to go as it is famed for its gorgeous beaches as well as a buzzing party scene.

Depending on the sort of holiday you want to experience with your besties, then Mykonos will either provide you with a relaxing, chilled out beachside holiday or one of the craziest times you have ever experienced whilst partying.

10. Split, Croatia

Split is the city in Croatia that will give you the Mediterranean feeling as well as 1,700 years of history behind its existence. Croatia is a destination that is cheaper than other places in Western Europe, so it won’t cost you much and still provides you with a luxurious holiday for all the girls.

It may be slightly off the beaten path compared to other destinations in Europe, but it is still a place full of beauty with its enchanting waters and deserted islands.
