14. Manchester Metropolitan University
Beaten by their close rivals is no biggy for the students at Manchester Met. If they really are that upset they can go out in one of Manchester’s many, many of clubs.
13. University of Manchester
The city of Manchester is world famous for its music. So it’s no surprise that the students at both the University of Manchester and Manchester Met are having an amazing time at night. Uni Of just about pips Man Met but there’s very little in it.
12. Liverpool John Moores University
LJMU students won’t be reeling too much from their narrow loss to Liverpool Uni. They’re still able to take advantage of 2 for 1 cocktails.
11. University of Liverpool
It’s a triumph for the Liverpool Uni students who just trump their local rivals at Liverpool John Moores. There’s loads of amazing places to go out in the city, plus loads with free entry as well — making the night even cheaper.
10. University of Leeds
The people of Leeds sure no how to go big and it’s no surprise, the city is absolutely packed with clubs There’s all your student-regulars: Revolution, Pryzm etc. But there’s also the famous Mint Warehouse and a host of trendy bars across Call Lane. No wonder they make the top ten.
9. Glasgow Caledonian University
Just scraping into the top ten (and just behind their local friends/rivals) is Glasgow Caledonian University. Sir Alex Ferguson was made an honorary graduate of Cale in 2001 and presumably had a hell of a night celebrating afterwards (maybe).
8. University of Glasgow
Not far behind Dundee is their fellow Scottish uni, the University of Glasgow. The number of musicians to have come from the city is startling (Primal Scream, Twin Atlantic, Travis — I could go on) so it’s no surprise that the city is a great place to party.
