This 18th century pub is a 10minute walk from Milsom street but its worth the walk! You’ll find roaring fires in the winter, great local beers, traditional games and a great pub atmosphere. Don’t come here if its food your looking for, at lunch they only serve filled rolls and the usual pub crisps, peanuts and pork scratchings.

So allegedly Jonny Depp used to own shares in this pub and the locals got involved too, with 500 local investors keeping it going! There is an electric line of music pretty much every night and weekends they have a D.J. The pub is a firm favourite with students and you’ll often find it super crammed creating a buzz atmosphere. Now if Depp isn’t enough to temp you down, then get down there for their fresh pizzas from the pizza bike!
