Lockdown restrictions are easing. The summer is around the corner. Here comes the sun.
Your exam period is in process, but we all need a break sometimes. Wondering what happens in your city centre, or maybe at your local pub? We’ve got you. Here’s a few things that are on at Bath at the moment.
Good Day Café back for Brunch
Despite outdoor seating being open from mid/end of April, our local favourite Good Day postponed their brunch until this week. From the 10th of May they are back with their brunch. Make sure you drop by for your Sunday favourite breakfast or just a sweet treat and a coffee any time of the day!
From the 21st of May, Komedia is back with their FAME nights. This is a socially distanced event and is divided into two sessions throughout one night. Clubbing is coming back, slowly but surely!
Party in the City
On the 15th of May, Bath venues will be opened from 6pm onwards with over 30 venues across the town centre with 2000 performers ready to entertain you. The city will come alive, filled with music and art. Make sure you enjoy it all the way up till 11pm.
Prior Park is back to timely visits. Enjoy the lovely scenery and escape the studying routine for a second or two. Make sure you book in advance.
On Thursday 13th of May, you have an opportunity to join a socially distanced run and aim to run 7-8km! The pace is adjusted so you can chat to the other participants and meet new people. The run starts at 6.30 at Combe Down. You do need to register!
With lockdown easing, sports restrictions have eased. Better gym in Bath has bookable slots for multiple sports, including badminton or swimming. Furthermore, there are bookable sports slots at the University of Bath campus at multiple locations. At the university, there are more sports for you to try out with your friends, including basketball, tennis, netball and even football.
Green Park Market
Who doesn’t like browsing independent shops and artisan retailers? At Green Park, there are a few little shops as well as independent sellers who come around and all join together for a market over the weekends. Due to some covid restricitions still in place, face masks are still compulsory inside the Green Park.
From the 12th of May until the 16th of May, Savouring Bath’s Culinary Comforts tour is at your disposal. Book your place and try all the best sample of Bath’s greatest food. Listen to culinary stories about your favourite food and drink the best artisanal drinks. Your sample of treats will be specifically curated on the day. You are bound to have the greatest time!
