Earlier this week, someone online released a blog post stating there are now 13 Zodiac signs – compared to the previous 12. The astrological signs are determined by the suns position in relation to the constellation on the day of an individual’s birth.

More than 2,500 years ago, the Babylonian’s first invented the 12 signs of the Zodiac. Back then, they also saw the constellation of Ophiuchus. However, it didn’t fit and this was left out of the Zodiac signs.

Now, all these years later the Earth’s axis has changed, supposedly meaning that all the constellations are in a different place. Therefore, this would mean that the Zodiac signs (including their dates and meanings) have changed.

However, it was later revealed that this was fake news that circulated as NASA later made a statement saying they had made no change to the zodiac and pointed out the point that astrology is separate from astronomy.

It was based on a post that was written in 2016, and once again it had led to an outbreak of fake news – which it has also done in the past.

Although this news has now been confirmed as fake, how would it have changed your star sign?
