Well, look no further as we are here to show you the best festivals London has to offer! From Wireless to Gala, here are the events that you won’t want to miss in 2022.
Location: Crystal Palace Park Date: (1st – 3rd July) & Finsbury Park (8th-10th July)
First off is Wireless – an incredibly popular festival which has been going strong since June 2005. It is very common for tickets to get sold out immediately, so it is very important to book your tickets as soon as possible.
There are several dates to attend arguably the best festival in London, ranging from the 1st – 3rd of July in Crystal Park and then from the 8th– 10th in Finsbury Park.
Wireless’ star line-up includes big names such as Tyler The Creator, Sza, Nicki Minaj and J Cole to name a few which should give you an idea of how big this festival will be. This won’t be an event you want to miss.
A single-day ticket is £100; should this be too expensive to pay all at once you have the option of paying incrementally by instalments purchasable from 3,6 and 9 months- perfect if your student loan has been run dry!
Location: Trent Park, North London
Price: From £55
After a two year delay due to Covid restrictions, Junction 2 festival is back and this year looks set to be better than ever before. Across Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of June, Junction 2 will host an array of artists across the electronic spectrum from a more eclectic lineup on Saturday, through to a techno-influenced bill on Sunday.
New additions to the monumental lineup include Maribou State DJ, George FitzGerald Live, Mount Kimbie, Romy, TSHA, Ela Minus Live, Max Cooper Live, Ben Böhmer Live, and Theo Nasa.
Having now been delayed for two years, Junction 2 finally returns as one of the capital’s most loved dance festivals with over 55 acts performing across the weekend.
A single-day ticket costs just £55 but tickets are already selling out fast.
Location: Brockwell Park (5th June 2022)
Already slated to be one of London’s best and most eclectic festivals this year, Cross The Tracks is a fantastic music event taking place on 5th June in Brockwell. The price for a single ticket is £49.50, so this is definitely a cheaper alternative to Wireless Festival (but just as fun!)
What else will be at the event?
Expect craft beer, workshops, street food and an impressive creatives market. An event to remember, and at £49.50, there’s no reason to miss out on one of the best showcases of music from all around the world.
Will they play my sort of music?
If you’re into alternative music, jazz, neo-soul and indie music Cross the Tracks is for you. The line-up for 2022 will include long time jazz-funk legends, Roy Ayers and Patrice Rushden, notables such as Giles Peterson and Sampa The Great and Khruangbin as well as emerging artists such as Joy Crookes, Mereba and Joyce Wrice.
Location: Peckham Rye Park (2nd-4th June)
An independent south London festival located in Peckham Rye Park, Gala ’22 has to be mentioned alongside the best upcoming festivals in London this year. Running from the 2nd to 4th of June, during the 3 day bank holiday weekend, it is the perfect opportunity to exploit the time off work to enjoy the good weather with your friends. Boasting an impressive line-up of talents such as Children of Zeus, Mansur Brown, Joe Armon Jones, KOKOROKO, Sons of Kemet and more – this festival is billed to exceed expectations and highlight why London is one of the best festival locations in the country.
Second release tickets are priced at £55 pounds and a full weekend at £132, affordable prices and the chance to immerse yourself in London’s rich creative scene then be sure to consider Gala festival this 2022…
Location: Victoria Park (19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, 47th, 28th of August)
The next festival on our list is All Points East, which will take place in Victoria Park with several dates ranging from 19th to 28th August – there’s plenty of time to visit one of the best festivals you’ll find in London. With an impressively diverse lineup of musical talents such as Tame Impala, James Blake, Pusha T, Greentea Peng and many more and a ticket price of £69 you are certainly getting your money’s worth at All Points East.
Location: Damyns Hall Aerodrome, Essex (Sat 06 and Sun 07 August)

Lastly is We Are FSTVL, A hugely popular Essex weekender. This year’s event will see a brand new live stage for 2022 with KSI, Craig David Presents TS5, Tyga, Mabel, Bru-C, Chip, Hardy Caprio and Yungen. They join previously announced artists including Andy C, Tale Of Us, The Martinez Brothers, Patrick Topping, Todd Terry, Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Deborah De Luca, Michael Bibi and many more.
