You’re all dressed up, got your best clothes on and are ready for a classy night.

This is no time for VK strawpedos or cheap vodka shots, what you need are cocktails.

But everyone knows they can be pretty pricey (not great when you’re on a student budget).

So here are the best places to grab 2 for 1 cocktails (or 50% off) in Leeds.

1. Lazy Lounge Leeds

When? Everyday, all day

Okay, so it’s not specifically a 2 for 1 or 50% off but it’s as good as. Grab yourself two cocktails for just £10 at Lazy Lounge in Wellington Street. The best thing about it is, you can claim the deal at any time! The offer is only on selected cocktails but, frankly, any cocktail is going to taste great when it’s only £5.

2. LS6

When? 5 to 7pm, Sunday to Thursday: two for £8.50 on cocktails. 11m to 5pm, weekends: 2-4-1 on Bloody Mary’s with weekend brunch.

This place does an amazing breakfast but they also do some cracking cocktails. As you might expect, they have a whole host of classic drinks from mojitos to Long Island iced teas but via some quirky mixes including elderflower gimlet.

3. Roxy Ballroom

When? Any time before 7pm

The Roxy Ballroom really is a fantastic place to kick off a night. There’s beer pong, ping pong, pool, mini golf — everything you could possibly want if you’re into bar games. Well, maybe some cheap drinks thrown in too. Luckily, Roxy has that too with two cocktails for £12 available (plus they also do Red Stripe for £3).

4. Revolution

When? Happy hour, 5 to 7pm Monday-Friday

Both the Revolution in Call Lane and the Electric Press offer great deals on their R-Heart cocktails between 5 to 7pm on weekdays. But if you really want to save some money (and your a regular Revs attendee) then become a Revs member by buying a Revolution Card. That gets you 50% off any R-Heart cocktail (any time) plus loads of other incredible deals. Well worth it if you ask us!

5. The 10 Bar

When? Tuesday from 8pm onwards is two cocktails for £6. Thursday nights from 8pm is 2-4-1 on all cocktails (except the zombie). Friday and Saturday nights from 4 to 8pm is two for one cocktails (except the zombie).

It’s all about dressing to impress, killing it with the cocktails and flaunting your flow at The 10 Bar. The glamorous venue has deals for most of the week but get yourself down on a Tuesday when they throw their student night, The Ten Club. Tuesdays are a great night to go out anyway, but the guys at The 10 Bar make it even better. There’s free entry, plus the best old school r’n’b, hip hop and house with DJ NOAH.

6. The Viaduct Showbar

When? Sunday 12 to 9pm, Friday 6 to 10pm

It describes itself as the ‘most camp and fun bar on the scene’ and we’re not going to argue with that! The fantastic venue offers caberet spectaculars and some of the UK’s best drag acts. They pride themselves on making everyone who comes through the door welcome: so join their family with a couple of 2-4-1 drinks.

7. Be At One

When? Boar Lane: Monday to Wednesday 4.30 to 8pm, Thursday 4.30 to 7pm, Friday 3 to 7pm, Saturday 2 to 7pm, Sunday all day. Millennium Square: Monday to Wednesday 4.30 to 8pm, Thursday 4.30 to 7pm, Friday and Saturday 4 to 8pm, Sunday all night.

Pretty much a staple in any major city, Be At One is a great place to grab yourself some cheap drinks with a few friends. They’ve got two locations at Leeds, one in Boar Lane and one in Millennium Square. Even better there are deals every day of the week.

8. Cabana

When? All day, every day

No matter when you go you’re bound to find a 2-4-1 deal at this wonderful Brazillian restaurant. That’s because they’ve decided to it all day, every day. And you’ve got to love them for that.

9. Las Iguanas

When? All day, every day

We almost thought about not putting this in here because every student knows about it but that would be unfair. Las Iguanas do 2-4-1 cocktails, all day every day. They also do some great food deals including buy one get one free on Mondays and two for one taco planks on Tuesdays.

9. MEATLiquor

When? Monday to Friday, 4.30pm to 6.30pm

We all know MEATLiquor is a great place to grab a burger, but it also does a fantastic 2-4-1 deal on selected cocktails. The offer extends to other beers and beverages, making it a great place to start your night.
