For one so well hidden, Nottingham’s Hockley Arts Club boasts an impressively expansive space for drinking and dining. Hidden behind the bustling streets of Hockley in the heart of Nottingham, The Hockley Arts Club is spread over three floors which each offer guests a different atmosphere, from old-fashioned to cosy to picturesque. 2. The Lost Caves

3. Lost Property

Like The Lost Caves, Lost Property is also located within The Mercure Hotel. A visit to Lost Property is definitely an experience in itself, upon entry you can expect a subtle inspection and will need to answer questions such as ‘are you lost’ or ‘do you have a ticket’ in order to enter the lost property room. When following through to the lost property room, this mysterious, distinctive façade reveals a speakeasy, surrounded by old suitcases, trunks, coins and books, replicating a 1920s-esque lost property room. Drinks are similarly served in a unique fashion, with many exciting twists on classic cocktails to enjoy.
4. The Secret Garden

Located in Trinity Square, The Secret Garden is an open-air bar which is perfect for those warm summer nights. Formerly an overgrown wasteland, the Secret Garden has been transformed into a green haven complete with blooming flowers and outdoor deckchair seating. Drinks are reasonably priced, with beers from £4 and happy hour cocktails available throughout the week. The venue is somewhat a mystery to find, but lookout for an SG sign by the entrance, and you will be on your way.
