The Necropolis

Named after the fact it’s the city of the dead, Glasgow’s Necropolis is an enormous cemetery near the city’s famous cathedral. It may be a bit of a bleak day out but it will also be a fascinating one, as it’s regarded as one of Europe’s most important cemeteries.

Anyone who’s lived in Glasgow for even a day will know that Tennent’s is so popular as to be pretty much a national institution (even if it’s not as great as Buckfast).
