The Christmas markets are right in the city centre, in St John Street, Working Street, Trinity Street, and the Hayes. This picture shows exactly where it is, so don’t panic if you don’t know where these streets are. It’s about a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central Station, so it’s really convenient. There’s loads of places to park in Cardiff, like John Lewis’ car park, St David’s Car Park, but depending on where you park, you might have to walk a bit further to get to the markets.

Stalls

As you can imagine, there is a big variety of stalls at the Cardiff Christmas markets this year. There’s a full list on their website about all the different businesses that are taking part, but some favourites include vintage tea cup candles, Christmas decorations, upcycled denims jackets and a lot more. You’ll definitely find something there that you’ll like.

Food and drink

If you’re looking for a snack while you’re wondering around the stalls, or looking for a gift for someone, then there are plenty of food and drinks stalls for you. Stalls such as Lisa’s Luxury Cheesecakes and The Boozie Brownie Co are selling treats such as brownies, cupcakes, cheesecakes and more. There’s also some savoury stalls this year as well, selling cheeses, roasted nuts, and chutneys. For drinks, there’s the biggest selection. Classics such as wine and whiskey are being sold, but this year  Cotswold Drinks Co are selling toffee vodka! We’re not sure how that one tastes, but it’s always a fun gift for someone!

So if you’re looking for somewhere to have a cup of mulled wine or a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, then this is the place to go. This is located right next to the Christmas market, so you can’t miss it! There’s a seating area, but it fills up fast, so you have to be quick if you want to grab a seat!
