This pub is crowded with students all year round. And for the right reasons. It is an ideal to-go place for cheap drinks (£2 student card deals) and great fun. It also serves tequilas at 99p and has other great deals on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The pub has an extensive beer garden, the food is fantastic, and it is all the more fun when you go in big groups as it can accommodate a large group at one time.

4. The White Rabbit
The White Rabbit is a well-established pub in Brighton’s North Laine and a firm student favourite. It has a laid-back atmosphere and is a popular haunt every night of the week. What’s more, the food on their sin shack menu is delicious and drinks here needn’t break the bank!

5. Hope and Ruin
Not only is Hope and Ruin a fantastic student pub but it’s also a great place to go to for gigs in Brighton. The pub strives to support Brighton’s independent live music scene and there’s something going on most nights be it live music or their Collage Club (everything you need is provided here to get crafty). There’s also lots of free live shows too as well as drink deals from 4pm weekdays, making it one of the best cheap pubs for students in Brighton. Charles Street Tap bar is located very close to the beach. And it is one of the best and busiest gay bars you’ll find in town. The crowd is trendy and has a wonderful selection of drinks.

7. New Unity
New Unity is perfect for students since it offers great discounts on NUS cards. They have everything, from live music to DJs, sports screening, and also hosts pop-up events. They also have happy hours on Thursday and Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm.
