Waterways

On Derby Road, Waterways is home to 179 students in a canal-side modern accommodation just 20 minutes away from the Loughborough University campus. All of the rooms available have private bathrooms, and then the lounge/kitchen area will be shared with a small group of flatmates – making it a sociable place to stay. The rooms are all furnished with sleek, modern furniture that will make you proud to call Waterways home. Plus, there’s a 24-hour gym next door and Market Place is just a short walk away. Prices start at £113 per week.

Optima

An 11-minute walk from Loughborough University, Optima provides modern, sleek self-contained studios. Some are split-level, and there are various sizes to allow for different student budgets, and there is a shuttle bus between the town and uni for those looking to get out and about. Prices start at £140 per week.

The Cube

Just 15 minutes away from the university, The Cube comes with flat-screen TVs, free bus passes, a communal area, strong and reliable WiFi, and plenty of great rooms to choose from. All rooms are equipped with a 3/4 or double bed with storage space, and then you can choose between a shared kitchen and lounge (with 42″ TV) or a spacious studio room. Prices start at £106 per week.

Cayley 

Named after an aerodynamics scientist, Cayley is in the village and so is at the heart of the campus. This puts you close to lecture theatres, sporting facilities, the library and the Students’ Union. It is home to 329 people, providing them with catered accommodation in a location that means you never need to wake up more than 10 minutes before a lecture. Within some flats, 2 to 8 people share a kitchenette and bathrooms, or you can opt for an ensuite. Prices start at £155 per week.

Faraday

Named after renowned scientist Michael Faraday, this accommodation is in the campus village also and consists of 27 different accommodation blocks. Those staying at Faraday get to benefit from the university’s catering, with meals provided to residents. Students will share bathrooms and kitchenettes in some flats, whereas others have ensuites. Prices start at £162 per week.

Towers

Towers hall claims to offer the best views on campus. The rooms were refurbished in 2010, and a new dining room and the common room was constructed in 2016. With 310 bedrooms, the East Park accommodation is a clear student favourite. All the rooms share bathrooms and a kitchenette with small groups, and the common room has tennis tables, Freeview and a 40″ HD TV. Catering covers 19 meals a week. Prices start at £175 per week.

The Block 

In the centre of the city, The Block is a great choice. It’s modern, luxurious and very convenient. The ensuite rooms are well dressed with modern furnishings, and the kitchens have large seating areas to cook and work on. Each bedroom has a private study space, and they look out across the city. In addition to ensuite rooms, there are premium one and two-bedroom penthouse flats available. Prices start at £116 per week.
