Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park is a centre in Birmingham where you can see lemurs, reptiles, meerkats, otters, birds, wallabies and a large collection of monkeys. As the name suggests, the centre focuses hugely on conservation and works with endangered animals to aid in their species’ conservation. Entry tickets are £7.65 for adults and £3.80 for children, however they offer a student rate of £5.80!

Birmingham has a great Botanical Garden, which is run as an educational charity. There you will find pleasure gardens, the Kingdom of The Green Man, shrubbery, a Japanese Garden and a Past to Present exhibition.

Drayton Manor

A little way away from Birmingham, Drayton Manor Theme Park is a reasonably sized adventure theme park for all ages. It has a zoo, a hotel, rides and cafes for all to enjoy.
