1. Baltic Market

For the hungry music fans, the Baltic Market in Liverpool, which is not too far from Bold Street, has your hunger for food and music covered. They have several amazing and independent food stands and loads of seating for all the friends you want to invite for a great live music experience. They have frequent live music performances from lots of local artists, such as Ukebox!
2. 24 Kitchen Street

24 Kitchen Street, close to the centre of town, is a great and unique place to go for live music. Hosting frequent events, such as Lost, it’s a must-visit for all students in Liverpool. As well as being a great place to see live music, 24 Kitchen Street have shown support for the LGBT+ community frequently, making it a safe place for LGBT+ students to visit safely.
3. The Cavern Club, Cavern Pub and Cavern Live Lounge
All located on Mathew Street (L2), the Cavern Club and its other venues were essential in the growth of the Beatles, who are from Liverpool. The Beatles and Liverpool go hand in hand so its only right that every student in Liverpool visits one of these venues to experience live music at least once in their time in Liverpool! Not only do you get live music but you also get to see it in a place that is full of Beatles history!
4. O2 Academy Liverpool

Hannah’s Bar has not only live music, but a cocktail bar with a wide variety to choose from and frequently has offers for students on drinks! And if you are a budding musician, they also host open mic nights for you to showcase your talent! For a cheap but fun night of live music, look no further than Hannah’s Bar.
7. On Air

Located near Liverpool One and Bold Street, On Air is the perfect stop for live music after a busy day of shopping or studying in town. They have a bar with friendly staff, and the atmosphere is unique. You won’t experience a night of live music like this anywhere else.
8. Late at Tate Liverpool

Whilst Tate Liverpool is not a live music venue, they do host live music at their Late at Tate events. You can enjoy live music whilst taking advantage of the fun activities they have on the night as well as being able to visit the special exhibits for free when you present your student ID card.
