Whether you’re looking for somewhere to bond with your housemates outside the comfort of your messy flat, or if you’re just looking for somewhere new and exciting for date night, we’ve found the best restaurants in Liverpool to suit any and every occasion.
1. Coyote Ugly Saloon
Address: 52 Bold Street, Liverpool, L1 4EA
Located on Bold Street, the “world famous” Coyote Ugly Saloon is home to an extensive menu ranging from classic grill dishes such as burgers and steaks to more modern dishes like “dirty vegan” loaded fries! The menu is also relatively student friendly, with amazing deals including a free alcoholic drink when you order a pizza before 9pm!
2. Crust

Another Bold Street favourite, Crust claims to serve “the best pizza in town”, and with more than 30 pizzas on the menu, they must be onto something! Pizza not your thing? They also serve a lot of pasta dishes, burgers and salads, so there’s something for everyone. Crust also prides itself on their selection of beers from around the world, perfectly paired with a pizza!
3. Baltic Market

So this isn’t necessarily a restaurant, but the Baltic Market is a definite crowd pleaser! Made up of several independent restaurants, there is something for everyone. Whether you’re vegan and fancying junk food from Wholesome Junkies, or if you’re feeling some “authentic Greek street food” from Christakis, you can split off from your friends but then eat under the fairy lights together.
4. Milo Lounge

Milo Lounge prides itself on being part of the “groovy Lark Lane scene”. It’s a dog-friendly restaurant, making it ideal for family visits with the dog – especially when combined with a stroll through Sefton Park! While the entirety of their menu is tempting, Milo Lounge’s tapas selection is enough to make your mouth water just from reading the menu. From a classic patatas bravas to a grilled chorizo taco, a few of their dishes would go down a treat with you and your friends!
5. Wagamama

Now, this one is a bit more basic, but you really can’t go wrong with a Wagamama’s. As one of our more mainstream choices, Wagamama brings the ‘fast paced environment of a Japanese ramen bar’ to Liverpool One. From their classic katsu curry to the cod mokutan soba (with charcoal noodles, of course) Wagamama has such a variety of dishes, you could probably go every week and never get bored!
6. Maggie Fu

Located in the heart of the student area, Maggie Fu brings the vibrant flavours of Asian street food to Smithdown. The family run restaurant prides itself on being ideal to ‘just sit, drink and eat some delicious Asian food while watching the world go by’. Their tag line of ‘meat | rice | noodles’ basically sums up their extensive menu in which you can either ‘build your own bowl’, or choose from a selection of roasts, curries, ‘big bowls’, noodles or rice, made up of classic Asian dishes as well as some more modern twists.
7. Miller and Carter Steakhouse
Address: Atlantic Pavilion, Albert Dock, Liverpool, L3 4AF
One of our pricier restaurants, Miller and Carter Steakhouse is a real treat. This may be one to save for when you’re celebrating something really special, but rest assured it will be well worth the wait! Whether you fancy one of their selections of steaks, a smoky barbecue ribs or even a burger, the luxurious dining experience can be suited to any taste.
8. TriBeCa
Address: 336-338 Smithdown Road, Liverpool, L15 5AN
Inspired by the neighbourhood in New York, TriBeCa is a bar and pizzeria in the heart of Smithdown. While they serve a lot of the classic pizzas, TriBeCa also caters for those who like to test the boundaries with their food. If you’re feeling brave, why not try a Peking duck pizza, or even a Kiev pizza! Their cocktail selection is also tempting, with 2 for £10 from Sunday to Thursday on selected drinks.
9. Panam
Address: Albert Dock, Liverpool, L3 4AD
Panam is an impressively large restaurant; with almost ‘16,000 sq ft of restaurant, bar and event space over two floors’! Serving food inspired by the Americas, along with every cocktail you could imagine, their menu has a variety of twists on classic restaurant dishes, such as the penne Mexicana, a Mexican twist on an Italian classic. They also serve traditional British dishes like fish and chips, and ribeye steak, for those who like to stick with what they know.
10. Bill’s
Address: 10 Thomas Steers Way, Liverpool, L1 8LW
While Bill’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, their breakfast menu is so impressive that it needs special attention! There’s a breakfast for everyone in their vast range, whether you fancy a fry-up, an elegant Eggs Benedict, or even a sweet stack of pancakes. There will be something that catches your eye in their menu. They also serve some less traditional breakfasts, such as the ‘Garden Breakfast’, consisting of halloumi, eggs, and a range of vegetables. You could also try their raspberry and blueberry smoothie bowl, if you’re looking for a lighter start to the day.
