Generally, the food is good value for money, and you get served your meals quickly with good service. Lovely atmosphere and is overall a really nice dining experience.

Also located in Radford, Tipoo serves authentic Turkish food and hosts an array of traditional dishes. The food is really great and is at great prices that won’t break the bank either. You get served a decent portion size, so make sure you’re hungry when you go! There also is an assortment of healthy choices on the menu as well as a great range of vegetarian options. With a friendly and casual atmosphere, this restaurant will provide a relaxing experience as you sit down and watch the food being cooked.
3. Antalya
This restaurant can be found in the city centre on Forman Street and also offers a takeaway service. The staff here are really excellent at catering to individual needs, and they can adapt the menu if you require or wish for something slightly different. Situated on Mansfield in Sherwood, Rakki Rakkas has a great reputation for being one of the best Turkish restaurants outside of London. Delicious food, generous portions and warm, friendly staff with great value for money this place has it all. They have also implemented good safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID, with hand sanitiser available on entry, partitions between the tables and the menus are under a clear Perspex tabletop.
5. Alaturka Meze Mangal
Located in the Compton Acres Shopping Centre in West Bridgford, so is slightly further out than the city centre but still serves fantastic food. The staff are full of energy and passion and go that little bit extra to make sure you have the best experience. They also have an open kitchen so you can see how clean and organised it is. They also offer 20% off if you order a takeaway, so it is perfect if you want to experience Turkish food but don’t feel like going out.
6. Keyf Restaurant
Located on Alfreton Road, Keyf Restaurant is relatively new to the Nottingham food scene. Although some of the items on the menu might be slightly pricier, it is definitely worth the extra money as they give really generous portions. Staff are attentive and very thoughtful, improving the overall dining experience. Great value and definitely worth a visit.
