meet the judging panel

Our methodology is reviewed and approved by a student-focused editorial panel with real insight into sustainability. For this category, we brought together a student studying environmental science, our editor, and our founder, along with a special guest judge: the co-founder of a food-waste startup, who holds a degree in economics and international development, and a master’s in sustainable food systems. This mix of lived experience and expert insight helps ensure our sustainability ranking is not only well-rounded, but genuinely meaningful.
