This gastro pub has everything you need for a great night with friends, with ping pong, a gaming corner, craft beer, food and three floors with bars dedicated to different tipples. If that isn’t enough to tempt you, they also have a deals every day from 5pm to 8pm where they offer 2 for 1 on selected cocktails, a large glass of wine for the price of a medium, selected craft beers and ciders for £4 and double house spirits for £1.50 extra.

If you’re less of a bar or pub person and prefer your happy hours spent on the dance floor, Revolution Leicester has the perfect night for you. I Heart Vodka takes place every Thursday and offers 2 for 1 on selected cocktails, Amstel and Magners for £3.50 and a double flavoured vodka and mixer for £2.70.

4. £6 classic cocktails and gin and tonics

If creative cocktails are your thing, this place is a must visit for you. Not only are their drinks Instagram worthy, they are also friendly on the purse strings too. All their classic cocktails and double gin and tonics are priced between £5 to £6 everyday between 4pm and 7pm and if you happen to stumble in there on a Friday you will also get complimentary nibbles — fancy!

5. Two cocktails for £7

This quirky cocktail bar is the perfect place for date night or even a catch up with friends. If you happen to go, make sure it’s during their between 8pm and 10pm when they offer two cocktails for £7. However, if you fancy celebrating the weekend early, the deal is valid all day.

6. Two cocktails for £10

This isn’t your traditional chippy — although you can opt for the classic dish if you like. However, if you want to spice things up a bit, they also offer 2 cocktails for £10. If the candy floss daiquiris start to make you feel a bit woozy you can always grab a fish finger club sandwich for the route home.

7. Jam jar cocktails for under £5

This place really does cater to all, from hosting mother and baby groups in the morning to bottomless afternoon teas to dinner and the occasional comedy night in the evening. This music venue has been going strong for 23 years and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. The venue is known for hosting live performances, but it also has some pretty decent deals. From 5pm to 7pm on Sunday to Thursday you can get an Amstel or Stowford Press for £2.50, a Sol, Red Stripe and Heineken for £2 a cocktail for £4 to £5 and a shot or bomb for £2 or £2.50. If you’re feeling really adventurous, you can also grab a Shed Shit/Liver Damage for either £3, £4 or £10.

9. Selected beer and cider for under £3

The self-named daddy of Leicester West End watering holes has a menu to suit whatever mood you may in. You can either grab a pizza and milkshake or grab yourself a drink with friends. The deals run from 4pm to 8pm every day and offers Becks Vier for £2.95, Thatchers Gold Cider for £3, if you prefer spirits then you can grab a double house vodka, gin, or white rum and mixer for £3.35. If none of those tickle your pickle, they also offer £2 off all bottles of wine, £1 off all cocktails and 10 per cent off all other drinks.

10. Two cocktails for £8

Who doesn’t love a strawberry daiquiri with their tacos? Bodega Cantina has taken advantage of the great combination and are offering two handcrafted cocktails for £8 every day from 4pm to 7pm and from 10pm to close. But, if you happen to go on Thirsty Thursday, expect the deal to run from 12pm until close.
