F*Ck Me It’s Freshers events have been going on in cities around the UK for nearly fifteen years! It’s a one of a kind event where you can expect tons of freebies like sweets, neon glowsticks, neon face-painting stations and more. You can even get a free t-shirt with some tickets. There’s music for everyone at this event, with the main room playing the classic chart-toppers and cheesy favourites. There will also be some house, R&B, hip-hop and afrobeats tunes thrown into the mix, ensuring there’s songs everyone can sing their heart out to!

The Official Freshers Sheffield Welcome Party
If you’re going to be a University of Sheffield student, this is the one for you! Taking place at the University of Sheffield’s Student Union club, Foundry, this event features a massive University of Sheffield merch giveaway so you can rep your new university in style! The music for this night is described as being student anthems, singalongs and classic club tunes – so if you love the cheesy tracks, this is the night out for you. And since this event’s in the Student Union’s club, you know the drinks are going to be cheap!

Freshers Silent Disco
Do you hate going out and not knowing the songs? Well, silent discos solve that issue. This Freshers Week silent disco features three different kinds of music – the chart-toppers, indie, and rock – so there’s a playlist for everyone! And, since it takes place on the 16th of September, this is the perfect event for all you incoming Sheffield Hallam freshers. Not to mention, this silent disco is said to be Sheffield’s biggest! Freshers Leadmill Fridays
Leadmill Fridays at the Foundry are a Sheffield classic, so the Freshers Week events are the perfect excuse to go see what they’re all about. There’s events for both the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam Freshers Weeks, meaning fun for everyone! There’s two rooms on offer at this night out, with one room covering chart-toppers, house and R&B classics. Room one features artists like Charli XCX, Ice Spice and Sabrina Carpenter. If indie tunes are more your thing, room two is perfect for you as it features artists like Declan McKenna, Sam Fender and the Arctic Monkeys.

This event features both chart-topping bangers and classic indie hits, so you can expect to sing and dance along to tunes from Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala and Wet Leg all in the same night!

This event features three linked venues, meaning plenty of room for you to show off your dance moves to your new flatmates. Hallamnation is also a massive event for the different sports societies, so you know you’re going to see some hilarious costumes based on whatever theme their social’s planned around this week.
