Central Studios

The name says it all – based in the centre of the city, Central Studios is a short walk from the town centre. There are a range of studio rooms to choose from, and plenty of places to socialise too. New Century Place 

New Century Place claims to offer modern luxury at student prices, and by the looks of it, they’re fairly spot on. Just a short distance from the White Knights campus and town centre, this accommodation is a great option for students in Reading. Childs Hall 

Opened in October 2012, Childs Hall offers comfortable, airy, self-catered accommodation. There are 594 ensuite rooms arranged into flats of 8 or 10, and each flat has a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms feature basic furnishings with plenty of storage space, and you’re located conveniently on campus. There’s even the option for a single-gender flat for those who want it. Wessex Hall

Set in parkland and located on campus, Wessex Hall has 196 bedrooms, all of which have all the necessary furnishings plus a sink. The rooms share bathroom and kitchen facilities with their flats and are self-catered. Residents get to benefit from the newly renovated bar and slick 25 seat cinema room available to all who stay at Wessex. Prices start at £131.25 per week.

Wantage Hall

Wantage Hall opened in 1908. The accommodation is split into Old Court and New Court, and has 150 rooms with sinks and 74 without. There is a flexible meal package available to students to allow the purchase of meals and snacks using a cash allowance, as well as shared kitchens.
