Enter through a biohazard blast door and into a large underground bunker space, set up like a post-apocalyptic war zone. For just £20pp for an hour (or £30pp for two hours), enjoy abandoned cars, stacks of tyres, oil drums and pillars in emergency green-light bathed space. And if you’re feeling crazy, they’ll also throw a bunch of zombies into the mix

2. Adrenalin Rush, Chiswick

This is the closest outdoor laser tag to central London. The tech’s super-sharp, with sensors tracking your hits and lives – plus you can upgrade to use kit that delivers a minor, totally harmless electric shock when you hit an opponent. You pay £26pp for 1.5 hours of play, or you can get the Exclusive Use of the arena (all 35 spaces) for £630. You could also check out their new branch in Dulwich.

3. GO Laser Tag London – Forest Laser Tag

The forest’s your oyster in this outdoor laser tag zone. You’ll be given three types of laser guns (inspired by Fortnite weapons) that inflict damage to players’ hit points. These include Scoped Assault Rifles, Semi-Auto Sniper Rifles and Light Machines. Each gun is different, so you can change up the way you play and your tactics.

Then you’ll be let loose in the undergrowth at £29.99pp for two hours, or £275 for 10 players. Here’s the best part: they’ll throw in a free Pizza Hut Pizza and a drink with your booking.

GO Laser Tag London is based in GO Action Forest, Surrey. It’s the closest outdoor laser tag game to Central London, just 10 minutes’ walk from the main train station. Or if you’ve got mates that drive, there’s free car parking on site.

4. Laser Quest, Enfield

An intergalactic retro playing field, with a maze spread over multiple storeys. Navigate corridors of luminous planets, stars and craters in a black-lit cosmos while dodging behind partitions for cover. And it’s cheap. Games start at £5.75pp (20 minutes), and party packages at £16.95pp for 2 games. You could also exclusively hire the space for £250.

5. Campaign Paintball and Laser Park

You’ll find this outdoor park tucked away near Cobham, in the heart of the Surrey countryside. If you want to get outdoors in the fresh air, do something adventurous, and have fun, then this is the place for you. This park houses realistic sets: it’s said to have the most authentic ‘Wild West’ town this side of the Mississippi’. Enjoy other realistic sets such as WW1 trenches, a 30 ft’ zombie tower, jungle zones, and lots more for £24.95pp. Campaign Laser Park can also come to you! Simply find a garden or an outdoor venue big enough, and they’ll be there with the equipment!
