In fact, it’s just a short 5-minute stroll from The University of Wales Trinity St David’s campus and a short bus ride away from the uni of Swansea Bay campus. Room wise, Crown Place has everything from cluster options to private studios to choose from. The building also comes with its own on-site gym and private dining room- all of this from £135 per week.

For Swansea students looking for spacious, more luxurious student living, you might wanna check out their brand new boutique rooms. However, it’s going to set you back a whopping. £300 per week.

CRM Students, SEREN

Next up is CRM’s other student accommodation, SEREN. These fully equiped rooms are located in Swansea city centre, close to the universities and everything else that Swansea has to offer. If you’re studying at the University of Wales Trinity St David, you’re looking at a six minute cycle. Meanwhile, it’ll take you 15 minutes on the bus from Seren student accommodation to the University of Swansea Bay campus (17 mins to the main campus).

Coppergate is a brand new student accommodation that is located on The Kingsway in Swansea. Its central location means that it is a great choice for both Swansea University and UWTSD students. There’s a wide range of room options available in this building from stylish ensuites to spacious studios.

Additionally, all utility bills are included and students can make use of the free Gym membership, laundry facility, private dining kitchen, outdoor courtyard, secure bike storage, and games zone. Prices start from £127 PW.

True Student, Swansea

Having opened in September 2022, True Student Swansea is a brand new student accommodation. With a central location and views over the River Tawe, this accommodation offers an idyllic setting for university life- great for first-years looking to settle in.

There are both private student accommodation and shared apartments available with prices starting at £139 PW. What’s more, the building is equiped with its own free on-site gym, wellness centre and study zones!

This building consists of four blocks and has a variety of room types available including a standard and premium en-suite room. Priority goes to those students who are studying at the Bay Campus so apply early if you want to get a room!

Singleton Park Campus Accommodation

Next up is the Singleton Park Campus Accommodation. This is a popular choice with first year, returning, international, medical and postgrad students. There’s a variety of rooms up for grabs. This includes ensuite, standard and adapted rooms. They also offer Welsh Language flats, which are a popular choice for Welsh speakers.

Beck House

Next up, Beck House comprises of 6 large victorian houses and has a mixture of shared and single accommodation. Beck House is situated in the uplands area of Swansea, with shops, bars and restaurants all nearby. It’s particularly popular with mature, postgrad and international students.

Hendrefolian Student Village 

Also known as HSV or ‘The Village’, this large off-campus residence is popular with uni students looking for sociable yet low-cost accommodation. Although it’s located two miles away from the Singleton Park campus, tenancies over 13 weeks will receive a free bus pass for the academic year. HSV provides self-catered accommodation with kitchen facilities and free wifi.

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David

The building contains 80 single occupancy self-catered en-suite rooms ranging from standard to extra leg rooms. Priority goes to first-year students who have the university as a conditional or unconditional offer. All rooms come fully furnished with a bed, desk, chair, mirror, wardrobe, shelving and bedside cabinet.

Oldway Centre

If you’re studying at Gower College- Llwyn-y-Bryn or the University of Wales Trinity St David’s, you’ll be pleased to hear that this student accommodation is within walking distance! What’s more, when it comes to student properties, it has amenities coming out of its ears, including a games area, cinema room, outdoor courtyard and even a gym on-site. Cool, huh?

However, you’re looking at between £130 and £230 PW. But as you’d typically expect with student accommodation, you’ll have bills included, WiFi, and with the Oldway Centre, an on-site residents’ team, security and CCTV.
