While beauty is famously in the eye of the beholder, some surveys have tried to rank UK universities by student attractiveness — and not everyone is flattered by the results. According to a recent poll that used data from dating apps and student interviews, the University of Warwick landed at the bottom of the table, followed by St George’s, University of London and University of East Anglia. Although controversial, these rankings reflect broader conversations about image, stereotypes, and how students perceive each other on campus. The students at University of Warwick are the least attractive in the country, according to a recently released survey.
People attending the West Midlands uni were deemed to be the ugliest of the bunch out of a total of 50 universities, bringing up the rear behind St. George’s, London and University of East Anglia, ranked 49th and 48th, respectively, for the least attractive student base in the country.
The survey also revealed the good along with the bad and the ugly, and students from the London School of Economics were found to be the most beautiful in the country according to the tables released by Fixr-App.
The luscious Londoners were followed by Univerity of Oxford and University of Leeds students, who were found to be the second and third most gorgeous of the bunch.
Diana Mori, who graduated from Warwick last year, said: ‘From my time at Warwick, this seems like an accurate ranking.’
Data collection for the rankings was done online via websites and apps such as Just Eat, Tinder, and Pint Price and by interviews with students at the schools.

FAQs on UK Universities Ranked by Student Attractiveness
The University of Warwick was ranked as having the least attractive students in a nationwide survey of 50 UK universities. The ranking was based on a combination of student feedback and online platform data.
Other universities ranked near the bottom include St George’s, University of London (49th), and the University of East Anglia (48th). These rankings reflect subjective perceptions and online activity rather than academic quality.
The rankings were based on data from dating apps like Tinder, food delivery and nightlife apps like Just Eat and Pint Price, and anecdotal evidence from interviews with students across 50 UK universities.
The London School of Economics (LSE) was ranked highest for student attractiveness, followed by the University of Oxford and the University of Leeds. These universities scored well on online presence and peer perception.
Reactions are mixed. Some students — like Warwick graduate Diana Mori — say the rankings feel accurate, while others argue they’re shallow and don’t reflect the real campus experience or sense of community.
