One of the best ways to gauge what your university life will look like is to take to social media. Whether it’s “get ready with mes” or “a day in my life”, these videos give you all the insight into the day-to-day of being a university student. As an Exeter student, there are a few Tiktokers who everyone knows as they are on all of our FYPs. The official Exeter account’s bio reads “here to help you LOVE your time at the University of Exeter”. They live up to their promise. The guild is Exeter’s student union, independent of the university as an institution. Run by students, they post all kinds of recommendations, tips, vlogs, and interviews. A recently posted video explores all the green spaces on Streatham Campus, showing you all the hidden gems Exeter has to offer. They also posted a whole bunch of videos during graduation where they asked recent graduates what advice they have for freshers, which was super insightful. They also break down the campus health services and money saving tips for students.
