10. The Royal Crescent

What is it? The Royal Crescent is one of Bath’s most iconic landmarks that was built in the 18th century.
Why go? If you are looking for something to do in Bath, it’s definitely worth taking a trip to the Royal Crescent as whilst the inside is now a hotel, you can still walk around the building and have a picnic in the gardens opposite.
How much? It’s free to walk around the outside of the Royal Crescent!
9. Savouring Bath

What is it? Savouring Bath is the ultimate tasting experience that will allow you to explore and learn about the city through its delicious food and drinks.
Why go? This tour is perfect for anyone who enjoys artisan food and drinks, as what better way to explore a new city than with your taste buds. During the tour you will get to eat and drink the best of what the city has to offer with the expertise of your local tour guide. There are multiple tours to choose from, including the Food Heroes tour or the Guilty Pleasures tour, each lasting a few hours.

8. The American Museum

What is it? The American Museum & Gardens has fascinating museum collections about American arts and heritage, special exhibitions, stunning gardens, an American Deli and a seasonal programme of events.
Why go? Visit the only museum of Americana outside of America, home to world-class collections, for an inspiring cultural day out. The Grade I listed Georgian estate features gardens designed by famous US landscape architects Oehme van Sweden, with spectacular views across the Limpley Stoke valley.
How much? Adult museum ticket prices are £15.50 and garden ticket prices are £10. However, if you bring a valid student ID card with you, you can get 50% off admission prices.
7. Sham Castle
Golf Course Rd, Claverton Down, Bath BA2 6JG
What is it? Sham Castle is a historic castle that is still standing in Bath as a Grade II listed building. It’s a great place to visit for a cheap day out in Bath, if you want to get out into nature.
Why go? The castle grounds offer fantastic views over the city, and it is on the outskirts of the University of Bath campus. It’s the perfect spot for students to relax in the sun with a picnic or for an outdoor study spot.
How much? It’s free to visit Sham Castle!
6. Bath Escape

What is it? Bath Escape is home to multiple escape rooms and can welcome up to 23 players at any time.
Why go? Whether you want to go with your friends, family, or colleagues, the escape rooms are a great team-building exercise. The interactive experience will challenge your minds as you will need to answer riddles, solve puzzles, and possibly save the world! Or if you don’t want to be contained to an escape room, Bath Escape also offer Detective Tours where you can spend hours exploring the city and solving problems outside.

5. Roman Baths

What is it? The Roman Baths are one of the top tourist destinations in Bath, as the baths are 2000 years old and still standing in the heart of the city.
Why go? If you want to explore Bath there is no better place to start than the Roman Baths, where you see the ancient ruins and the pools. Plus, all visitors can borrow a free audio guide and choose from 12 languages. The site is one of the best persevered roman baths in the world, and the pool is naturally filled with spring water each day where it can reach 46°C. How much? At the weekend, adult tickets cost £27 and student tickets are £26. However, weekday tickets are £25 for adults or £24 for students.
4. Thermae Bath Spa

What is it? The Thermae Bath Spa is the only naturally warmed mineral waters in the UK.
Why go? Going to the Bath Spa is an experience like no other as aside from their range of treatments, They also have an open-air rooftop pool which is open day and night from 10am until 9pm.
How much? Whilst it’s not the cheapest option, you can enjoy a two-hour spa session for £35 Mondays to Fridays or £40 on Saturdays and Sundays.
3. Komedia
22-23 Westgate St, Bath BA1 1EP
What is it? Komedia is a comedy club in Bath that has regular comedy and music acts.
Why go? Due to its range of performances and great reputation, Komedia is the winner of the best venues in the South West of England and Wales for comedy, music cabaret and club nights!
How much? While prices depend on performances and events, Komedia do offer concession prices to students and young people between the ages of 18 and 25, but they also offer group discounts for groups of 8 or more.
2. Original Wild
Victoria bridge, Bath BA2 3EH
What is it? Original Wild are well known for their huge range of adventurous activities across Bath and Bristol.
Why go? What could be better than you and your friends spending a day doing something adventurous with Original Wild. Whether that’s rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing or even paddle boarding! There is no shortage of activities as Original Wild also offer team-building skills like raft building, or if you don’t want to paddle board with your friends, you can bring your dog for doggy paddle boarding.
How much? Prices depend on which activities you do and when you do them, but most prices start at £20 per person.
1.Bath City Farm
Kelston View, Whiteway, Bath BA2 1NW
What is it? Bath City Farm is a charity that conserves the environment and supports people who have a disability or are struggling with their mental health.
Why go? The farm is located on a 37-acre plot and its adorable farm animals, walking trails, farm shop and cafe make it a popular attraction. Plus, the farm regularly has its own workshops and courses, so if you want to learn how to make a hand-tied bouquet, this is the place to go, although these courses range in price. You can visit the farm Tuesdays to Saturdays between 9 am and 4pm, and Sundays from 9.30 am until 4 pm. If you’re looking for a good brunch on a Sunday, you can also find it here, where they serve up amazing dishes like a halloumi breakfast and pancakes between 10 am and 3 pm. The cafe generally uses fresh seasonal food too to keep things tasty.
