Computer Science/I.T is a good degree for more introverted students.

Computer science degrees allow for a focus on independent work, analytical skills, programming and cyber security skills. These all require a lot of concentration and alone work, so it’d be a good degree course for those who are introverted and prefer to work by themselves due to the work being more portfolio based. Computer science degrees tend to be highly structured too so you know what to expect!

There is limited social interaction for computer science degrees, there may be the odd peer review here and there. However, a computer science degree is perfect for introverted individuals who prefer structured tasks that they can work on alone.

Computer science degrees also open up a pathway to a lot of jobs such as a web designer or a data analyst which can be done alone.

2. Creative Writing/Journalism

A creative degree is a perfect fit for those more introverted. Writing is a solitary activity that enables introverts to express themselves creatively without excessive verbal interaction. Creative degrees occasionally have sessions where you workshop pieces of writing with other students in your class to offer feedback. This only happens a few times a semester, so a creative writing or journalism degree is perfect for an introvert!

Creative writing degrees also open up several careers that are more solitary such as writer/editor/proof-reader making it perfect for introverts.
