What the result suggests

Most respondents are unhappy with what they get for what they pay

01

“Not great value” is the top answer

48.5% said their university is not great value, the largest group in this poll.

02

More than eight in ten are negative

84.8% (28 of 33) said their university is not great value or genuinely poor value.

03

Hardly anyone is fully satisfied

Only 1 of 33 respondents (3.0%) said their university is great value, with no complaints.

Why this matters

Value for money is a growing question for students

With tuition fees, rent and the cost of living all rising, students increasingly judge their university on what they get for what they pay, from contact hours and support to facilities.

This poll of 33 responses suggests that judgement is mostly negative among the students who took part. It is a reminder that value for money is worth checking before applying, alongside course content and reputation.
